Due to the Hiroshima International Architecture Festival 2025, our opening hours and some experience programs will be adjusted as outlined below.

■ Event Period
October 4 (Sat) – November 30 (Sun), 2025
The entire facility will be reserved for a private event, and general admission will not be available on October 4 (Sat).

■ Admission Fee (Viewing Passport / Valid for 3 Days / Usable in Both Fukuyama and Onomichi)
Onsite: ¥3,000 (tax included)
Online: ¥2,500 (tax included)

※ During the event period, the admission fee will be as listed above.
※ Admission is free for high school students and younger, as well as for visitors
with disabilities.

■ Notice Regarding Udon Menu at “Gokandō”
During the Hiroshima International Architecture Exhibition, the type of udon served may vary depending on the day — either Kake Udon or Shinshoji Udon.
Please understand that changes may occur without prior notice.

■ Information on Changes to Experience Programs
・One Day Zen Experience: Not available during the entire event period
・Zazen Experience: 【Before】Time changed to 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM

・Sutra Copying: Not available on the following dates Oct 25(Sat), Nov 2(Sun),
Nov 9(Sun), Nov 23(Sun), Nov 30(Sun)
・Workspace Usage Plan: Available as usual in October / unavailable throughout November

■ Facilities Available as Usual
・KOHTEI: 10 guided viewings per day
・Bathhouse: Available by advance reservation (one group per use) *Closed on Mondays

■ Shuttle Service Between Bus Stop and Shinshoji Temple
During the event period, the shuttle service between Tenjinyama and Shinshoji Temple will be suspended.
On weekends and holidays, please use the direct bus service from Fukuyama Station to Shinshoji Temple.
(Take the “Miroku-no-Sato Direct” bus from platform 6 at Fukuyama Station and get off at “Shinshoji.”)
